Youthink Presents the 2011-12 BC's Best Teen Band Contest

And the winner is...

Congratulations to Kate Kurdyak! The Vancouver indie-folk artist has won BC’s Best Teen Band Contest. On April 28, 2012, the Top 3 finalists performed live at Electric Owl in Vancouver to compete for the grand prize. All three bands gave amazing performances, but the judges made the tough decision of selecting Kate Kurdyak as the best of the best. Kurdyak has won approximately $10,000 worth of prizes, including: $2000 cash for artist development, $500 worth of gift cards from Long & McQuade, a recording session with Jay Evjen of Juicemix Productions at Greenhouse Studio and a songwriting session with Shaun Verreault of Wide Mouth Mason.
