American Idol star’s album lacks star quality.

The beautiful blonde country star who burst onto the country music scene following her run on the fifth season of American Idol, has released her third album, 100 Proof. On the upside, there is a nice balance of sappy and more upbeat songs on this CD, with plenty of emotion in tracks like Mother’s Day and The Letter. However, the tracks just don’t seem to showcase the strength of Pickler’s vocals and lyrically are quite repetitive, which is just enough to prevent this album from being anything that stands out.
