Prom night can be scary, exciting and, most of all, stressful. But, with a simple, quick and easy hairstyle, you will have one less thing to worry about. Here are some easy grad hairstyles that will have you looking great and out the door in no time.

1. Start by smoothing your hair with a straightening iron and then, if you like, just slightly flip the ends.
2. Next, pull all of your hair back tightly and high on the crown of our head.
3. Once the ponytail is nice and tidy, secure it with a clear elastic.
4. Finish by adding some slight volume on top and a finish of hairspray.
Best for medium to long hair

1. Pull all of your straight hair back, similar to the high pony.
2. Once you’re happy with the ponytail, secure it with a clear elastic.
3. Next, twist your pony until it is tight.
4. Wrap the tightly twisted pony around its base.
5. Secure with another clear elastic and, if needed, use a bobby pin or two to truly make it secure.
6. A quick spritz of hairspray and you are done!
Best for medium to long hair

1. Brush all of your hair from the front of your head to the back.
2. Then, using your fingers, create a line from the top of your ears all the way around and pull the hair above your ears into a ponytail.
3. Secure with a clear elastic and spritz some hairspray at the front.
4. If you want you can curl your hair first and spritz with hairspray to protect your curls.
Best for short, medium, and long hair

1. Curl your hair and collect it into a low ponytail on either side of your head.
2. Be careful not to wreck your curls and secure the pony with a clear elastic.
3. Then, do the same as the ballerina bun only this time do not twist it too tight.
4. Secure with another clear elastic and if needed use a bobby pin or two to make it extra secure.
5. A quick spritz of hairspray and you’re gorgeous!
Best for medium to long hair
Whatever hairstyle you choose for grad, consider trying something you wouldn’t normally do – just make sure you do plenty of trials and photograph yourself to be sure you like the end result. You can always check YouTube for easy to follow tutorials or more ideas.
Great ideas, but I would use
Great ideas, but I would use these hairstyles more in my everyday life. Other simple but fancier looking hairstyles I would recommend are the waterfall braid, simple half curls or the braid headband. Most fancy hairstyles require longer hair, as it's hard to really do anything with short hair. However, if you have short hair, you could perm it, dye it or pin it up for a change.
