It’s the Way You Look at It

He sits alone happy to be
Dumb and useless they say
No one accepts what he can see

His life they said, is no guarantee
Doctor’s advice was to put him away
He’s not accepted here in 1973

With the Doctor, everyone would agree
In the night dad and mum would pray
No one accepts what he can see

Grew, they laughed at what they see
His spotted eyes cross and stray
He’s not accepted here in 1973

Yet in his heart he holds genuine glee
His parents follow holding dismay
No one accepts what he can see

Disease is all they decide to see
So mum and dad still kneel and pray
He sits alone happy to be
No one accepts what he can see
