Iraq's Lone Environmentalist

If you're ever looking for a different take on the news, try clicking through the online English edition of the German paper Der Spiegel.

Recently, I found a really interesting feature on a group trying to restore Iraq's southern wetlands. The historic marshes were drained by Saddam Hussein 20 years ago, and the people working to bring them back are now the country's only environmental organization.
