Fashion Blogs Inspire Teen Style

The Internet has inarguably become a major source in providing people with fashion inspiration, as opposed to fashion magazines and celebrities.

These days, people who partake in this “street fashion” trend of putting up their own looks online seem to be a bigger influence than anybody famous.

Some people say it makes them more aware of trends because they see what people around them are wearing. You tend to notice what will become a trend, or what will become cliché so much sooner than somebody following looks in a magazine because the information can spread faster online.

These Internet blogs make it possible for absolutely anybody to be up-to-date with what’s going on, whenever they want. Another plus is that these blogs are constantly updating, which means no more waiting to see what's in and what's out.

Another reason people would rather turn to the Internet than just a magazine is because their voices can be heard. Fashion bloggers are the harshest critics, and are ready to voice their opinions at any possible moment. This means that people don't have to rely on the media for opinions or thoughts. They can have their own thoughts, and they can hear what others think all across the world.

The emerging trend of online fashion inspiration is good news for some stores as well. For example, if readers see a belt or some shoes on one of their favourite blogs, often times they will want it right away, so as to keep up with what's new, which is good news for the stores.

All in all, the Internet is capable of satisfying many fashionistas. From affordable stylish looks to pieces straight off the runway, it's a haven for just about anybody.

Tumblr is my favorite site to go and check up on the best fashion blogs.

Its a pretty flexible site. If you're into the whole fart jokes, then you can easily follow tumblr users who post fart jokes. If you're into long posts that pour out their heart and soul, there are tumblr pages for you too.

But I find my niche with fashion blogs.
Tumblr users like, "vogueweekend" and "jetblackheart" or, "fashionfever" reign the tumblr fashion blog world (from my eyes, at least) They post photos everyday: clothes wrapped around a woman that inspire the way I dress. In fact, "vogueweekend" was asked by designers in New York to partake in their fashion week. They wanted her to blog about their runway shows and preview Oscar de la Renta's fall collection. The best part is that not only was she recognized from a previously indie site like Tumblr, they sent her and a few other Tumblr fashion bloggers to New York!
