Heart on Your Sleeve this Valentine's Day?

From my observations, every Valentine's Day there exists three different types of people in the world ... in terms of how they dress, I mean.

The first group is people who slap on some clothes and walk out the door on the morning of February 14 like any ordinary day. Next we have type two, people who are spotted with a dash of pink or red subtly on his or her sweater. While type three are the people who wear a full-blown Valentines Day outfit.

By now you might be thinking, so what the heck IS a Valentine's Day outfit?

For guys I’ve seen classy pink Lacoste collar shirts or a pink dress shirt, which looks super spiffy and clean cut. As for the ladies, why not add a splash of pink or red – there’s gotta be something in the closet that will work!

I love Valentine's Day accessories such as heart-themed jewelry (Forever 21 is Forever loaded with things like this), a cute headband and anything else you can think of.

I mean, on this day it feels acceptable to be just borderline cheesy and cute. Just look at what Cupid’s wearing ... or in his case, not wearing!

At our high school specifically, we have a Touch of Class full day dressup event every Valentine's Day, and everyone comes in suits or classy cocktail-like dresses.

Valentine's Day is usually associated with chocolate, cards and so on and so forth, but why not dress up a little while you’re at it? Who knows, it might help you snag yourself a date!

First of Many

I would fall in the first type of category since I don't really feel the need to dress up, but your article gave me a little push to maybe dress a little more daringly with a dash of red or pink! Thanks!

It is rather adorable seeing

It is rather adorable seeing the Valentines Day spirit people seem to be oh, so deprived of. So what if it's cheesy? If the fear of being cheesy is holding you back from enjoying life to the fullest, then you my friend are missing out.

This article made me smile. I would fall into the type one category; I think the only reason I would dress more Valentinesy is if I had a party to go to, but this V Day fell on a Monday which seemed pretty bizarre and super ordinary. My plans for the night? Homework.
