Remember when Spencer Pratt was quoted saying that Heidi Montag might’ve been possessed by the ghost of Michael Jackson? Well, who knew he’d be right?!
But no, Montag hasn’t suddenly been blessed with gravity-defying dance moves or a voice that soars through the upper octaves; instead, she has picked up quite a costly obsession that the former King of Pop would secretly approve of – plastic surgery.
The 23-year-old recently confessed to People magazine that she is “obsessed with plastic surgery,” and even had up to 10 procedures in one day! Yup, you read that right – 10 procedures in one day must be some kind of world record! Here’s the rundown:
That’s a lot of silicone, anaesthesia and foreign objects to have in your body in one day! I mean, I understand why someone would have the desire to get a procedure done, but I can’t fathom having all 10 in one day! Was there a sale on specific surgeries that was going to expire soon? Or was there some kind of promotional stamp card: “Buy nine procedures get the 10th free?”
In the end, Heidi battled through the drug-induced metamorphic haze and broke free from her former chrysalis and emerged not as a beautiful creature... but just as a questionable looking creature. Yikes – she sure does look Heidious!
Now, I think Heidi looked fine before… but now, on her quest to be what she calls, “the best me,” she somehow got uglier in the process. I just really hope she won’t end up like one of those plastic surgery junkies, where they’re so desperate to get something done, they’d literally take matters into their own hands (Korean lady injecting cooking oil into her face ring a bell anyone?).
Here's the before and after picture; what do you think?

Now I’m not here to make a farce out of Heidi, but to merely make an example of how society’s perceptions of beauty and our own perceptions of beauty will never be in limbo. It seems most of us we will never be satiated with the way we look; we will always be insatiable. So Heidi, darling, please get help: use your money towards a well established psychiatrist to teach you that beauty is in the eye of the beholder – and that plastic doesn’t always make perfect.

I don't think that what she
I don't think that what she has done is a good example for girls, especially girls who live in a society that thinks looks are so important. She was beautiful before, and should have learned to accept herself, instead of creating a whole new person to be.
Heidi used to be so happy
Heidi used to be so happy and full of energy before Spencer Pratt. I don't think this transformation is his sole responsibility, but I do feel he should have stepped up and put a stop to all the surgeries. A lot of people have been affected by Heidi's craziness lately, especially in her family. The only doctor Heidi needs to be seeing is Dr.Phil.
Heidi Montag baffles me. Why
Heidi Montag baffles me. Why on earth did she think that would make her look better? Hard to say, I suppose. Society does put a lot of stress on looking good, but this is to the extreme. She can't even run anymore because her plastic surgery has hindered her from doing so. Hopefully people will realize from this example that trying too hard to be beautiful doesn't benefit anyone.
I really don't understand
I really don't understand why people do things like this to themselves. If you're going to be famous, you're a role-model whether you want to be or not, and saying that she's creating the "best" version of herself through multiple surface-altering surgeries is COMPLETELY the wrong message to send out. Totally agree with the therapist investment.
Heidious is right
Heidi looked gorgeous before she had any needle injected in her face! Pop culture these days has gone downhill, promoting airbrushed perfection in every way and stick-thin figures. Millions of girls from all over the globe have watched Heidi every Monday night, how does hearing these surgeries impact them?
Perfection?
Exactly how 'perfect' could you get? I mean, it's like you're building a big flawless snowball up the hill; it'll eventually get to the top. Push it any further and the whole thing's gonna go downhill and burst.
Perfect Plastic.
Heidi looks so different. I think that you'll always have reasons to look more perfect but you don't need to change anything, you could look worse than you do now! Be happy with yourself.
