Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD Release

Remember when you had to wait in line for at least two hours, to step inside the theatre to find out that the rows of seats were quickly filling up, trying not to get trampled on by seemingly innocent tweens and their mothers? Remember when you were watching an intense part of the movie, only to have it ruined by a little girl and her mother having to pass by to use the washroom at least four times? Well fear not annoyed Twihards! Your inconveniences have not gone in vain, for money-hungry corporates have heard your prayers--and yes, they have an answer, and that answer comes in the form of: The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD!

The Twilight Saga: New Moon, arrives on DVD and Blu-ray at midnight, Saturday morning in most cities, as well as established electronic stores. So you could just forget about wanting to accidentally stick your foot out to that little girl and her mother to use the washroom (four times!); not to mention you don't have to put up with a crude and pixelated version of the movie online anymore.

But, before one reaches Twilight Nirvana, one must suffer through punitive measures... Okay, well another perpetually prolonged line up! Though not yet confirmed, it may very well be possible that there will be a staggering amount of people sleeping over in the line up to get their hands on their own copy of this wonderful DVD. I sure hope HMV, Blockbuster and Best Buy have enough garlic or silver - or some kind of holy water variant, to tame the ravenous crowds; because if it's anything like what I experienced when going to watch the movie... May the made up religion of Cullenism help us all.

So just exactly what is the hubbub all about? Well The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD comes jam packed with exclusive content: it includes previously unreleased extended scenes; interviews with actors Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, the Cullen Family, the Wolf Pack, the Volturi and director Chris Weitz; never seen red carpet footage from the movie premiere; as well as a webcast. But wait, there's more! Other extra special features include: an audio documentary with director Chris Weitz and editor Peter Lambert; a six part behind-the-scenes documentary; rehearsal footage with Muse; music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina and Mutemath.

If reading that huge block of information didn't titillate your senses, I don't know what will?! Oh, I know, how about a sneak peek of the featurette?

Still not convinced on sleeping over at a line up? Why not check out this exclusive behind the scenes clip of the third installment: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

And if you're still undecided whether to be in Team Jacob or Team Edward - it doesn't matter! Because either way, everyone wins when The Twilight Saga: New Moon arrives on DVD and Blu-ray at midnight!

no matter where you go or

No matter where you go or how old you get, there will always be the thing that everyone wants or wants to see and right now it's New Moon. This phenomenon is based off the best-selling books by Stephenie Meyer and the books were really good. I love these movies but i felt they were a little lost in translation. I hate when books get turned into movies because you lose the essence of what made you fall in love with the book in the first place. Who says that they get to pick what gets shown and what doesn't? When you read a book, you create the character in your head and you create how they look and make you feel, but when put in movies they're basically saying, "No you're wrong. This is how it is," and then if you go back and read the book after you've read it, you picture it the way you were told to and not how you want to.
books: AMAZING movies=GOOD

It amazes how the Twilight

It amazes how the Twilight Saga reaches not only its demographic (young teens) but everyone who seems to come in contact with it. When the DVD was released all I heard about it was positives. Yes, I'm not a fan of Kristen Stewart either but all in all it's a great movie but the books are better! I highly recommend you read them, all of them.

I bought the first movie on

I bought the first movie on DVD, and wasn't too thrilled with the extras because there weren't as many as I was expecting there to be.
The books overshadow the movies by a long shot.
Team Jacob :)

I think the Twilight Saga is

I think the Twilight Saga is interesting in its own way, but I'm not a die-hard fan of it. When I first heard of New Moon's DVD release, I wondered why everyone was getting so caught up in the excitement but I understand now, that the DVD includes many extras and bonus features that "crazy fans" are just waiting to get their hands on.

I'm not a crazy fan of

I'm not a crazy fan of Twilight but I still like it and I made my mom get me New Moon. I thought it was worth the buy to also see the behind the scenes stuff. It's pretty cool.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD

I can't wait to get it and watch it, a couple times more!
