1. Get a good agenda and use it!
Using an agenda regularly will provide that organization you need and keep those due dates fresh in your mind.
2. Create a homework period.
By keeping on top of your studies and doing a bit of homework every day, you will avoid having to pull any all-nighters this year.
3. Invest in a multi-coloured pen.
I don’t know how to stress the importance of such a small tool, but the use of a multi-coloured pen is incredibly beneficial. You can organize your notes by colour, making them much easier to understand.
4. Work flashcards into your studying process.
The use of a multi-coloured pen with flashcards can bring magnificent results. For example, when studying certain words for a vocabulary test, have the word on the front side in red, and the definition on the back side in blue.
5. Build a good support system.
Ensuring a close bond with friends and family is extremely important. High school can be an incredibly difficult time for some teens so having a good set of friends can eliminate the risk of depression and therefore the risk of capsizing grades.
In addition to these guidelines, you must remember to apply yourself to your studies. A consistency in effort is needed to achieve the results you desire, and using these simple suggestions will bring you the serious satisfaction of academic success.
