Concentration everywhere, black, white and red
Smell of blood fills the air, overworked and underfed
Happy laughter, fearful cries
Families slaughtered, under blood-red skies
Soldiers - only obeying - line them up and knock them down
Imagine the life one could have saved, if only ONE turned around
How do they sleep with stained hands?
How do they not weep, when they don the black, white and red band?
Where was God when this all happened, why couldn’t He freeze time?
Now this torture’s rarely fathomed, but still we remember this crime
Every child dreams of going to camp; the only difference, millions did not come back
Did no fingers cramp, did not one soldier beg forgiveness as the thunder cracked?
Quick! Wash our hands, forget the past
Too many are gone, lost under the sands, it all happened to fast
Life sentence, indefinite death, no benefit, no trial
Not one hint of whisky on a soldier’s breath, yet did he taste the bitter bile?
Go to sleep, try to dream, your only job was to keep your orders fed
Wake up from a scream; did it come from your bed?
Did one Nazi cry for the chosen enemy?
Did not one Nazi die for giving into insanity?
Ashes fall like a winter’s day
Alone one baby crawls; it is his parent’s judgment day
Should I cry, should I sit awake, for those who now must sleep
Did the salient night die, when they fought back for peace
It took one man to destroy a world, to deliver himself to the devil
Downward spiral, uncontrollable whirl, too bad the ground that he stood was uneven
Families slaughtered, blackened blood-red skies
Happy laughter turned fearful cries
Smell of blood fills the air, overworked and underfed
Concentration everywhere, now drop the black, white and red.
