Gone With the Wind

I’m lying awake, crying all night like a widow,
I spoke too late, now I see a black and white rainbow.
I never had thought that it all could have ended like this,
With not even a sympathy kiss.

My soul is a boat in a Caribbean hurricane,
My heart is in pieces, with only myself to blame.
You got what you wanted, and all I have to say to you is this,
Enjoy your eternal bliss.

Why did we waste our lives playing this game,
You're with him, I’m with me, everything remains the same.
Well, certain things are bound to change,
You can’t even say my name.

I’ve tried to find the answer to this problem I’m in,
But the closer I get, the farther it’s gone with the wind.
I’ve given up now, just let me begin,
With a life I can actually win.
