It Only Happens in a Dream

You were my crush,
and then you became my LOVE.
I knew you very well,
but not that much.
I knew you would never love me
the way I did, but I still continued
it for unknown reasons.
But then one day I woke up
for no reason and suddenly I realized
the truth
that you would never feel
the same way as I did,
It hurts me so badly,
but I know
there is no way to force you to love me.
In my dreams
you are my leading man and
I am your leading girl,
You are my prince and
I am your princess,
You are my Adam and,
I am your Eve,
And I know that
It only happens in a dream.
