Faded skies coloured black
Your mysteries hold that which I lack
Pastel sunset, glowing pink
Should make me stop in awe and think
Sparkling rivers, crystal blue
Vivid leaves, glittering dew
Windblown meadows, waving green
Should be a beautiful sight I’ve seen
Though it’s been clear all along
I’ve turned away
I was wrong
For in these sights remains but truth
Don’t allow ignorance to ruin your youth.
