Everyday is a challenge
A test of faith
A question of your beliefs
A dare to your courage
To live life to the fullest
To never look back
To confront the new day
No matter how bad
How much despair
Lies in the restless air

Everyday is a fight
A battle between
The world out there
And the defiance within
We stand strong
Hoping against hope
That our courage
And beliefs don't ever fail us

Everyday is a test
A challenge of your skills
Your knowledge
Your perseverance

Everyday is a wish
A reach in the sky
For the ultimate goal
Is to keep reaching
Because the belief is that
One day our faith
Perseverance
And attempts
Will win us those
stars in the sky

But sometimes what
we don't realize
Is that if we keep reaching
For that one wish
One chance
To live
We may fall
And there's
Nothing there
No one there
To catch us.
