So the flower held on to the tree,
Because the wind tried to blow her away,
The flower hoped that maybe someday,
The tree will ask her to stay.
But the wind was strong, indeed very strong,
That the flower thought that she could no longer hold on,
But the sun came and sent the wind away,
And gave the flower more reasons to stay,
So now there she was; still holding on to the tree,
Who still stood there: strong and sturdy,
Oh how I wish, oh how I pray,
That these two will be together someday.
