Mother Poem

Mother, I am sorry for never
Treating you right, I should be
Punished for the days I have
Brought tears in your eyes,
But please forgive me. I am
Just a little crazy, but I will
Always love you for everything
You have done for me.
 
Wipe my tears when I have seen
The worst day. You never told me
To give up when everyone did.
Oh mother it’s true you are a
Special gift sent from God to us, I still
Remember like it was yesterday,
When you attended my plays.
 
Always smiling when things
Weren’t right, never complaining
And giving us fright, mother forgive me your
Child that is crazy at times,
But mother I will never forget
All the things you have done for us.
 
Always trying to find ways to
See us smile, getting us things when
It was hard to comply, but also for loving
Us a lot, oh dear mother I am not worthy
Of your love.
