Why Do I Care

Why do I care if you talk about me;
You're just making your life too miserable to be.

What if I care that you're mad at me;
I'm my own person so let me be.

Why do I care if you mess up my life;
You'll know you did wrong when you're older and wise.

Why do I care what people say;
Because somewhere inside it's tearing me alive.
