Wilting Flower

There were flowers you neglected,
that would volunteer themselves to die first.
And thirst, they'd take it all away
but you stay deprived, and they wilt.
For you alone, they shut out all the rain.
And dear they dried,
just to offer you buckets
on bluer days, of water you'd reject
cause you're sorry and selfish
with light.
It's a shame,
that you cannot see the sun
when everything was here.
You left behind
a flower that only dreamed to drown.
