Some Poem Written for Some Class by Some Teenager

Apparently I'm supposed to string words together
Make a statement about myself or life,
but I'm not going to work out my psyches
in 11 lines.
I can't help one's personal strife
with humanity
or the girl that won't love you back,
even though your heart might be rife
with whatever feelings you have.
A guiding light peering through the dark woods
is something these words shall not provide
but perhaps this will serve as a warning,
flashing yellow and white,
"I Can Not Help You,
I Can Not Help Myself,
and no matter how much you beg,
I will not provide you with any form of wisdom
or assistance
or anything useful for that matter."
