death and scrambled eggs

The Roundhouse Youth Theatre Action Group performs their latest play death and scrambled eggs to the public at the Roundhouse Community Centre.

Inspired by life experience, death and scrambled eggs is a new play that opens with a house party and goes on to reveal the consequences that follow an experience with the drug Ecstasy.

The play explores issues that some youth deal with and don’t necessarily talk about, including insecurities, depression, fears, and peer pressure.

As in past performances by the group, mental health and addictions staff will be present to provide audience support, if needed. Following each show, talk-back sessions will be held.

death and scrambled eggs is written and performed by a diverse group of youth from different areas of Vancouver working in collaboration with the mentorship and facilitation of professional theatre artists.
