A Thought

A clock-
Is similar to our society, 
The three arms work together,
To keep track of time.

The longest arm works the hardest,
Every second of every day,
While the rest lie lazily and turn with ease,
But nobody appreciates its hard work.
It is even taken out of some clocks,
Seen as unnecessary,
Unimportant
And out of place.

Tick-tock tick-tock
Is the sound of the clock,
But the only one contributing
Is the long, hard working arm.
