Fast and Easy Summer Hair – That’s Cute Too!

In the summer, most of us are all about being carefree. But, at the same time, us girls want to look good, including our hair. We want everything to be quick and easy while the summer heat is scorching down on us. For summer 2009, there are so many cute styles out there; it seems that less is definitely more! Here are a few summer hairstyles (inspired by the Oscars) that you could wear in the city, at the beach or even a night on the town!

Easy Up-do: A simple casual look that can be worn anywhere, anytime.
How to: Pull hair back, letting layers fall out as you go. Loop hair back to the nape of your neck and secure with bobby pins. For a more secure bun, use an elastic instead of pins.

Mini Braids: A sweet, goddess hairstyle that takes seconds!
How to: Select small random amounts of hair around the front of face. Braid or twist and use bobby pins to pin them back.

Side Pony/Bun: A stylish, easy-to-achieve summer trend.
How to: Part hair to the side Gather hair all to the same side and secure with elastic. Reinforce with bobby pins.

Since my bangs have grown

Since my bangs have grown out, I have now recently started to braid them for events and dances. It looks nice and quite fun, the only problem is, I have a hard time holding it down when I do them, so I have a friend to help me :p

The mini braids have really made their mark both on the red carpet and in our world. In the summer, I found myself doing these braids on the skytrain to work!
