Find the Swimsuit that Suits You

With summer just around the corner, every girl wants to look her best at the beach. So, while shopping for the perfect swimsuit, keep in mind that you’re searching for your body type, not someone else’s! Here are some great tips to help you find a swimsuit that flatters your body type.

If you’re curvy
For you curvaceous girls, try halter tops or even a pin-up look. Stick with darker coloured bathing suits; they’re super slimming! Try to stay away from ruffles, patterns and extra material. Instead, you can try ruching for a lovely camouflaging effect in the mid-section.

If you’re long and lean
Add some curves to your body! You can go wild with embellishments (ruffles, beads) at the hips and bust line. Try belted waists and bandeau tops. You just need that something extra to go from plain Jane to beach babe.

If you’re athletic
You’re so fit you can wear just about anything, but how about going for something more fashionable than an athletic swimsuit? Try swimsuits with details at the waist to create an hourglass figure. Also, bows, ruffles and frills add a feminine touch to that sporty bod of yours.

If you’re pear-shaped
Go for something that draws attention upwards and away from your hips. Having ruffles, bright colours or patterns on your top will definitely attract eyes up. For bottoms, make sure that there isn’t a lot going on and that you’re covered.
