5 Twists on the Tux

Graduation is on everyone’s mind at this time of year, and while girls are out shopping for hours on end looking through hundreds of dresses, guys only really have one option: the tuxedo. Pretty plain, right? Wrong. Here are five easy ways to spice up your tux and stand out.

No More Black
Make your suit jacket pop with a different shade of dark. Try a dark blue or charcoal grey with black piping.

Go for Colour
Give your outfit a boost with a brightly coloured dress shirt or one with a funky design. (See Justin Timberlake’s blue dress shirt pictured above.)

Tie One On
Steer clear of boring black ties and try something a little more fun – like a blue one with black polka dots! Better yet, bring back the bowtie.

Statement Belt
Try wearing your favourite belt to add your personality to the mix.

Pick Pocket
Borrow your dad’s old silk handkerchief – the one with the crazy design – and stick it in your breast pocket.
