On July, 16th, 2009 Karnvir Hayer passed away at the age of 15. During the summer of 2007, it was learned that Karnvir had cancer.

Though the treatments took a heavy toll, his spirit remained the same. He endured the pain, and fought his hardest against it for two years. Everyone that knew him would agree on one thing. His sense of humour. He was the kind of person that would make us laugh so hard we would cry. That was Karnvir. He always wanted to make people happy.

We will continue to remember all of the memories that he gave us. Every french, science and drama class, where he would make a small joke that would send everyone into hysterical laughter, will forever be cherished. He was as good, and as true a friend as any person could hope for. We feel privileged to have got the chance to have known him.

Karnvir, we miss you, and you will always remain in our hearts. You’ve left a lasting impact on those of us who knew you.
