In am an Artistic/Advertising Director for Reach Out, a school club at Fleetwood Park Secondary in Surrey. RO (Reach Out) promotes diversity and raises awareness about global and community issues.
We have chosen to support a charity called Free the Children, which I highly recommend for other clubs. Free The Children has built more than 500 schools, providing education to more than 50,000 children every day and have done so much more.
Our previous year we exceeded our goal of building a school in Sierra Leone through Free the Children. This following school year, Reach Out will start building water wells and finding another charity to support.
Reach Out has made it very far so far and is hoping to go further and inspire others to create more support for those in need. It only takes around $8000 to build a school in Sierra Leone - imagine how little that buys us in Canada.
We hope this year will continue the support and may it be a successful year = )
