L.O.L. - A Digital Short

LOL is not merely an acronym, but a proclamation. Laugh out loud, and stop resorting to impersonal and out of touch communication!

The short is an abstract representation of current day society, and our addiction to electronic means of communication. It is no wonder that our society is losing its manners and overall ability to communicate effectively face-to-face.

The reality of this short is so true to today's society. Kids are losing all sense of face to face communication and manners. People are much ruder to each other because they now they are not saying things directly to each other.

It's amazing how out of touch so many teens are becoming with the world outside their own. Because of technology, social interaction is slowly dwindling along with our quality of speech of the English language. People need to realize that by depending on their cell phones, computers and iPods, they are depriving themselves of creating real relationships with other people, rather than their computer screens.
