Are your dates getting boring and conversations turning dull? Then it's time to spice it up! There’s no better time to get out and about than summer!

Make a Day of It
Go to Granville Island for the day. It’s the place to be this season with tons of little shops and cafés; you never know what you’ll find. Grab some great food from the marketplace and sit by the water to watch the boats go by for a really laid-back dinner. After, check out what’s going on at the Granville Island Stage.

Unique Dining
Add some adventure into your regular dates by experiencing something new with every meal. Try eating at new heights at the Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant. It’s great food with an amazing view of Vancouver – very romantic and perfect for spicing up a Saturday night.
If you’re not into looking down on the world, then try getting down-to-earth with the Stone Grill. It’s a healthy way to eat out with fresh vegetables and lean meats that are all cooked in front of you on a slab of lava rock.

Sports
Surprise your significant other with tickets to a local sports game like the Vancouver Canadians or the BC Lions. Whether or not you’re a sports fan, the excitement will be contagious and you’ll be cheering on the home team in no time! Plus, the tickets are a lot cheaper than major league games.
A Date Under $15
If you’re looking for something to do that doesn’t involve a lot of energy and is easy on the wallet, then why go out at all? Staying home can be just as romantic and fun as any other date. Go to the grocery store and pick up some ingredients for an easy meal that you two could cook together (Don’t forget dessert!) On your way home, pick up a movie from your local library – they often have the classics and it’s free. With a warm blanket and a big screen TV, this is the perfect recipe for a cheaper alternative to a night at the movies… and it’s more romantic too.
Have fun!
