Stuck on ideas as to what to get for your friends and family this Christmas? Here are a few unique and affordable ideas that almost anybody would enjoy!
1. A magazine subscription
This is a good choice for those people who seem to have everything. Why not get them something that they will get to enjoy each and every month? There are so many types of magazines to choose from: fashion, cooking, technology, music, etc. Get a subscription in their name, wrap up the latest copy and attach a little note.
2. An event ticket
Who doesn’t love going out on the town to see live music, theatre or sports? If you know the person well, you should be able to choose an event that’s to their liking. If you want to leave it up to them to choose the event, why not get a Ticketmaster gift card? That way, the person can choose an event that works with their schedule.
3. Rewritten songs/poems
If your budget is especially tight this year, then maybe using your creativity would be a better option. Pick a song or poem that your friend likes and rewrite the words to add a special meaning to it. If you’re comfortable enough, maybe think of performing it for your friend!
4. A custom sports team kit
If your friend is a super fan for a particular sports team, then consider making a game day kit for them. Find a plastic bowl in their favourite team’s colours and fill it with all sorts of fun items. Team T-shirts, hats, mugs and even their favourite snack would be a good idea.
5. A set of nice stationary
Whatever age group, stationary is always a hit. From a set of Hello Kitty gel pens for your little sister to an elegant letter-writing set for your mom, there is something for everybody. Stationary can also be functional, like a geometry set or somebody’s first graphing calculator.
6. Candy in a pretty jar
This is perfect for that somebody on the list who you don’t know very well. Get an ornamental jar or decorate a plain one yourself. Now fill it with an array of beautiful candy. Once the person finishes all that sugary goodness, the jar can be reused to hold whatever they want!

Keen ideas, not so keen Holiday wishlist
The gift ideas (ranging from personal to invisible acquaintances) are helpful and a bit, "revolutionary" please excuse my hyperbole.
Although, the Holiday wishlist seems to dash all these simple and intimate gift ideas, with material.
Hmmm, I wonder which list tops a combined $1000?
