Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston shine in this refreshing comedy.

What’s the story?

Arresting your ex and getting paid for it? Best job ever, right? Milo Boyd (Butler) is a bounty hunter who gets his dream job when he is assigned to track down his ex-wife, bail-jumping reporter Nicole Hurly (Aniston) and bring her to jail. He thinks it will be the easiest pay cheque he’s ever earned, until Nicole gives him the slip so that she can chase a lead on a murder cover-up. They continually one-up each other... until they suddenly find themselves on the run for their lives together.

Why see it?
If you’re an obsessive Gerard Butler or Jennifer Aniston fan, watch this movie. If you’re into comedy, romance, action or are otherwise just plain bored, watch it. Heck, if you’re just looking for any random decent movie to watch, watch it! It cheered me up and made my day, so maybe it will cure your boredom too. The storyline is interesting and unique, with a surprising twist near the end. Both lead actors display solid acting skills and make their characters believable, and they also have great chemistry together. The script is so funny and entertaining to the point that I’m probably going to end up quoting this movie randomly every now and then!

Problems?
Personally, I think there isn’t really anything wrong with this movie, but some people might not like the short bursts of random unexpected violence, and there are a few suggestive themes in the movie that could be considered inappropriate for younger audiences. As well, you can expect to hear some objectionable words and phrases in the movie.

All in all:

A solid romantic comedy to watch that will make your day.
