Rating: G
Stars: Justin Bieber, Scooter Braun, Usher Raymond, Pattie Mallette
What’s the story?
Never Say Never documents teen superstar Justin Bieber’s rise to fame. Bieber starting making music at a young age, playing the drums, singing and entertaining his family before he could even tie his shoes. As the story goes, after his mom uploaded several videos of him singing on YouTube he got a phone call from American talent agent Scooter Braun who flew him out to Atlanta for a meeting. As fate would have it, he bumped into Usher Raymond (his mentor) while he was there. Usher later arranged for Bieber to audition for LA Reid, which led to his record deal with Island Records. To illustrate just how far he has come, the film concludes with Bieber performing to a sold-out audience in New York City’s famous Madison Square Garden stadium.
