Mark Wahlberg has done it again!

What’s the story?
This movie is about an agent, Max Payne, (Wahlberg) and an assassin, Mona Sax, (Kunis) who come together to solve a series of murders in New York. Each character is motivated by similar things: Payne wants revenge for his family’s murder, while Sax is trying to avenge her sister’s death.

Why see it?
It’s the newest role by Mark Wahlberg, it has a great soundtrack and it’s an action-packed crime thriller that is not predictable. The action grips onto you and doesn’t let go. This movie is worth recommending to friends.

Problems?
The storyline is complicated and they go from one problem to another too quickly, confusing the audience. The ending is abrupt and not entirely satisfactory – if you are not a fan of cliffhangers you may not want to see this. Anyone who is not a fan of violence and death in the movies should skip this film.

All in all:
It may be the best video game movie adaptation since the Resident Evil series.
