When the sun goes down, the battle begins for Larry Daley.
Rating: PG
Stars: Ben Stiller, Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Hank Azaria, Robin Williams
What's the story?
Larry Daley’s new career as the CEO of Daley Devices has taken off. But upon revisiting the Museum of Natural History, he finds out it is shut down for upgrades and renovations. Most of the museum’s pieces are moved to the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. for storage, except for the all-important Tablet of Ahkmenrah, which holds the power of animating the museum exhibits at night. It is now up to former security guard Larry to save the museum’s exhibits from one of the world’s biggest, unknown battles of all time.
Why see it?
This movie is hilarious, heart-warming and uplifting. Director Shawn Levy has made a brilliant sequel to the 2006 film Night at the Museum. Ben Stiller again brings his comedic talent to the big screen with the help of funny men Hank Azaria and Robin Williams. With these actors, you’re guaranteed side-splitting laughter throughout the movie.
Problems?
I had absolutely no issues with this film, as it was a great mix of comedy, action and romance. The actors were spectacular and entertaining and I would recommend going to watch this movie with just about anyone you know.
All in All:
Fun, amusing and heart-warming, this is the movie to see this summer.
