Toy Story 3

5 Stars

A quintessential film for the kids and the kids at heart.

Rating: G
Stars: Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Ned Beatty, John Morris

What's the story:
Woody (Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Allen), as well as Jessie (Cusack) and the rest of your favourite toys are back! Their owner Andy (Morris) is now 17 and too old to play with his once beloved toys. As Andy readies himself to depart for college, the toys mistakenly find themselves in a daycare, where being played with all day isn’t all that it's cracked up to be. The daycare is full of kids who don’t like to play nice and as always, it's Woody to the rescue in attempts to free the toys from the evil daycare and the reign of Lotso (Beatty), the pink, strawberry-scented bear who runs the place.

Why see it?
Toy Story 3 is perfect for anyone who is still a kid at heart and wants to relive the days when they first fell for Woody’s unshakable leadership and Buzz’s heroic nature. It's the kind of Disney movie that makes you want to go home and play with those forgotten toys who have been there with you since childhood.

Problems?
This film is a Disney/Pixar animated movie and is aimed at children. So, those who aren’t interested in taking a trip down memory lane and reminiscing about your days as a kid or watching, what is at times, a cheesy movie should probably pass on this film.

All in all:
An excellent finish to the Toy Story movie series.

Toy Story 3

I loved it! It was sad, too.
