I just finished reading New

I just finished reading New Moon over the Christmas break. I'm SO behind on trends! I personally thought it was addictive (kind of like a guilty pleasure), but at the same time the writing was pretty awful. Having seen the movie beforehand, none of the suspense was there for me and so the writing style was supposed to sell the book to me. It really didn't. The way Meyer writes is repetitive and underwhelming! Had her breakthrough series not been about attractive, perfect vampires, she would have never found success.
