Brandi Carlile bares it all in Give up the Ghost.

Sure to please fans of KT Tunstall and Missy Higgins, Brandi Carlile really has come into her own with this raw and soulful third album. Full of heartache and beautiful acoustics, you can almost see the dusty roads and the setting sun while listening to Give up the Ghost. Graceful and catchy songs such as Looking Out and Dying Day spotlight her soaring voice, which is as calming as the lulls of the ocean waves. Reflecting on her years in high school, death, dreams and all the curve balls life throws at her, this CD should resonate with any listener.
