Can Miley Cyrus Be Tamed?

Miley Cyrus released footage recently of her new music video I Can't Be Tamed and already controversy has followed. The sneak peak shows Miley Cyrus in a bird cage looking fierce and sexy as she escapes from the cage leaving spectators in awe.

Now most of us are obviously aware of Miley Cyrus' attempt to break free of her Hannah Montana role. We have already witnessed Party in the USA, but this new music video is at a whole new level. I understand that Cyrus is trying to spread her wings, but her video portrays a new very sexy look giving her young fans the wrong idea.

Although Miley wanted her video to be unique and fresh, her music video resembles the likes of Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Madonna and Adam Lambert. Even those who take this video seriously have to admit the similarities with Adam Lambert’s For Your Entertainment music video.

Miley Cyrus had better watch out in her attempt to break out of her Disney pop princess look because she just might lose the respect of her adoring fans. The public is questioning what is appropriate for Miley. After all, she has great influence over young fans of her Hannah Montana persona. Even if Billy Ray Cyrus isn't worried about Miley, I'm sure many average parents out there are worried for their children.

We all hope that Miley Cyrus can be tamed; after all, we don’t want another Britney Spears, now do we?
