Cancer Bats: Bears, Mayors, Scraps and Bones

Third album’s a charm.

After two studio albums and touring with the likes of Billy Talent and Alexisonfire, St. Catharines, Ontario rockers Cancer Bats have released their third and impressive CD, Bears, Mayors, Scraps and Bones. Known for heavy riffs, drums to match and Liam's shouts, the band once again features catchy riffs and stellar bass on this album. It's difficult nowadays to find a hard-hitting punk rock band with good tunes that make you want to rock out, but the guys of Cancer Bats really prove themselves with this well-composed hardcore punk album.
