7 Worlds Collide: The Sun Came Out

Brilliant charity project conducted by New Zealand rocker doesn’t fail to inspire.

You never know what to expect when listening to a compilation of many different artists, but 7 Worlds Collide is a tasteful ensemble of powerful vocals with artists including Ed O’Brien and Phil Selway of Radiohead, KT Tunstall and Bic Runga. Even though the songs aren’t all that cheerful, there is an uplifting feeling that comes in the midst of the profound lyrics and soothing ballads. You can almost feel the passion expressed by the artists in these smooth melodies race through your bones. Kudos to Neil Finn for putting together the heartfelt charity project; the proceeds will be given to Oxfam to help fund the fight against global poverty.
