Country star releases a trainload of good solid songs in latest album.

Alan Jackson is no stranger to the country scene, with Freight Train being his 18th album, which is sure to produce many more top 10 country hits. Although at first, Freight Train sounds like the stereotypical country album, the album grows on you as the country superstar tells stories about life – work, love and self-discovery. Backed by soft guitars, Jackson tells tales of his own love and life with his high-school sweetheart and their growing kids. He may be over half a century old, but he has yet to lose his touch with writing songs anyone can relate to. The soft acoustics, light percussion and tasteful lyrics will leave you feeling warm, even if you’re not into country music!
