All Time Low: Nothing Personal

5 stars

Maryland pop-punk protégés find themselves at an all time high.

If All Time Low had a biographical storybook, it would be called The Small-Town Band That Could. The boys have evidently come a long way since playing Blink-182 covers. Their third studio album (a collaboration with Mark Hoppus of Blink-182, +44), Nothing Personal, proves just how much All Time Low has grown up. Put together by a team of producers, including Matt Squire (producer/engineer of Boys Like Girls, Forever the Sickest Kids) and Butch Walker (producer of Katy Perry), the album shows off a new-found versatility, while still staying true to All Time Low’s punk roots. Having had the album debut at #4 on the Billboard Charts, this story is turning out to be more like a fairytale.
