Loyal fans and new listeners will be enticed by The Chemical Brothers’ latest release.
The Chemical Brothers have released their seventh studio album, Further, proving that the electronic duo still has lots to offer fans. The album kicks off with a familiar sounding Snow, then melts into the 12-minute epic Escape Velocity, with traces of a Baba O`Reilly (by The Who) influence. Maintaining a revelationary sound throughout the 50 minutes that the eight tracks span, Dissolve takes the audience from listeners to trippers, serving a six-minute long drop of acid. Meanwhile, Horse Power brings out a traditional Chemical Brothers sound. The consistent bass beat makes this a danceable CD with just enough of a mellow tone to listen to at home as well. If you are not a Chemical Brothers fan right now, you will be after giving this album a listen.
