Chevelle: Sci-Fi Crimes

Chevelle’s latest album is otherworldly good.

Chevelle’s fifth album, Sci-Fi Crimes, really is out-of-this-world breathtaking. With lyrics that are strong and powerful, the American rock trio includes tracks ranging in genre from soft rock to even heavy metal. However, in some tracks like Fell Into Your Shoes, the thumping bass and drums are so overpowering that the lyrics aren't easy to hear, which takes away from the overall impact of the songs. Have a listen to Shameful Metaphors and Letter From A Thief though – with catchy tunes that highlight the softer side of hard rock, these songs immediately caught my attention, and hopefully yours as well!
