An emotional album that showcases Lovato’s strengths.


The recording of 19-year-old former Disney star Demi Lovato’s third studio album, Unbroken, was interrupted in 2010 by a stint in rehab. With that experience influencing much of the album, Lovato is back to express her 
emotional lyrics through her raspy, passionate vocals. In the song Lightweight, Lovato exposes her vulnerability as she sings, “I’m a lightweight, better be careful what you say.” Lovato’s honesty allows us to experience a piece of her heartache and despite all her struggles and anguish, she proves that nothing is broken beyond repair.
