Dragon Fli Empire: Redefine

Calgary musical duo redefines hip-hop.

Calgary’s own Dragon Fli Empire deserves high praise for their third album, Redefine. The duo, comprised of Teekay and DJ Cosm, has been around since 2002 and has continued to maintain their unique underground hip-hop style. Teekay’s voice has a little touch of Charlie Tuna from Jurassic Five and their unique lyrics differ from those you hear on the radio; they address real life issues versus the usual rap subjects of money and women. This pair is going to go far and their potential is evident on this album.
