Drowning Pool’s latest album should perhaps do as the name suggests and drown.

Drowning Pool’s self-titled album is a major letdown. It’s no secret that Drowning Pool isn’t the same band it was nine years ago. Ever since the death of the original lead singer Dave Williams, the band's music has been on a steady decline. This self-titled album proves this statement. Besides the one single, Feel Like I Do, there isn’t much to this album. The album contains extremely generic heavy metal songs that are mediocre at best. I think this band has reached its peak in fame and it may be time for the guys to break up the band.
