Tonight the Scottish sensation strays too far.

Listening to Kaprano and band’s third studio album, their follow up to the highly praised You Could Have It So Much Better, you realize all too quickly that you could have music that is so much better. In a befuddled attempt to diversify their style, Franz Ferdinand’s album fails to offer anything unique or notable. The band stated earlier that Tonight was going to be their “night album” with speedy tunes meant for partying on the dance floor. On the contrary, the most refreshing tracks on this record seem to be the two that take a more slow and mellow approach.
