Glee's usually exciting cast fails to hit a high note on its fifth volume. The highly anticipated original songs (new territory for Glee), Get It Right and Loser Like Me, are a complete disappointment. However, the mash-up of Thriller and Heads Will Roll is brilliant; it may sound over-processed, but it's perfect for the dance floor. Gwyneth Paltrow's beautiful vocals in Landslide are also a highlight of this album. Unfortunately, with the remaining covers reminiscent of people singing in the shower, it seems like a regular church choir could do far better.
