Groove Armada: Black Light

Groove Armada moves in a new direction with latest album.

More adventurous than the electronic music duo’s previous work, Black Light is Groove Armada’s newest creation. Andy Cato and Tom Findlay have developed their sound and taken their songwriting in a new direction, demonstrating the darker side of Groove Armada. Synthesizers are used to create a mellow beat, while the lyrics and vocals create an ethereal, almost haunting melody. Have a listen to the intriguing track, Shameless, as guest artist Bryan Ferry’s vocals harmonize with the classic Roxy Music single, Love is the Drug, which is on repeat in the background. The guys of Groove Armada present a bold new approach to their songwriting and sound with rewarding results.
